Scofinn - Fabulous textiles and cards

Today's blog post is about one of the fabulous artisan makers that I am lucky enough to stock in my Pontypridd shop and on my website. Scofinn is a Brighton-based small business run by the lovely Anneli Fleming-Brown, who designs the most amazing textiles, prints and cards.

Scofinn was the name coined by Anneli's grandmother to best describe her half Finnish, half Scottish grandchildren. Anneli has a passion for colour and form and her work has a Mid-century/Scandi/Nordic style. Her inspiration comes from nature, and from her ever-growing collection of retro/Scandinavian pots, pans and ceramics.

She is a graduate of Central St Martin's and has worked as a textile designer and illustrator. Her textile design credits include Habitat and she has produced illustrations for Homes and Gardens, Breathe Magazine and Amnesty International, among many others.

I am absolutely delighted to stock some of Anneli's textiles and cards in my shop. Her ever-popular tea towels are amazing and I stock a wide range of her greetings cards. Anneli fits the Martha's Homestore ethos brilliantly! She is a UK- based small business and she designs and creates beautiful and useful pieces with passion! Long may our collaboration continue.
