A beautiful little antique ceramic jelly or blancmange mould, made from white ironstone or stoneware, dating from the Victorian era. These moulds feature intricate internal patterns that were designed to shape desserts or aspics for presentation at table.
The interior features a decorative design with a lace effect pattern which appears on top of the molded jelly or blancmange once turned out.
Unusually, there is a mark on the base, No 1 or No 7.
These gorgeous moulds bring a warm and cosy feel to a kitchen shelf display.
